As reported by Halo. Bungie. org, a company called Entertainment Podophobia founded by two employees of Bungie, Harold Ryan and Martin O'Donnell, recorded in 2009, Destiny, a brand whose license was renewed in March 2011. This is a trade mark for "computer games downloadable from a network" with a logo which is also recorded.
According to a NeoGAF member of the symbol would be similar to the one reproduced on T-shirt of a developer Bungie in a recent movie of Penny Arcade. Another trademark of Podophobia is 'Be Brave', whose description is identical to that of Destiny. According to rumor, Destiny's exactly the name of MMO that Bungie would be developed for Activision.
At the moment we have no official confirmation on this.
