Capcom officially announces Ixion Saga

Something online We have already talked about earlier, following a sighting of a mysterious registered trademark of Capcom in May, but now the question seems official. As reported by Andriasang, the new issue of Famitsu reports the first details of Ixion Saga, a new online multiplayer game for PC by the publisher of Osaka.

Fighting in teams of eight against eight in PvP, PvE fighting against monsters and giants are the characteristics reported in a cooperative, as well as setting that seems rather eclectic view of the possibility of using swords, magic and guns. Three main classes for the characters: Striker, Caster and Blaster, corresponding precisely to the three types of weapon, with the ability to create "partnerships" between the characters, not better defined.

The game will be released in alpha testing in Japan on July 28, but there is no information on a possible arrival in the West. We do not know quite what might have to do all this with Ixion and Greek mythology, but there it is.
