In an interview, the manager of SCE Studios, Mike Hocking, is back to talk Headman, headset and microphone-equipped display that can display 3D content from Sony announced a few months ago at CES. "He is going to come back into style virtual reality," says Hocking. "Our new HMD, or head-mounted display will allow us to get where we were headed in the '80s.
Now we have the power to turn this dream into reality: we have resolution and processing capabilities that will allow us to enrich the game in a not too distant future." Hocking has also confessed to look forward to contact lenses compatible with augmented reality. "Most of the more interesting gadgets is still in the research and development, for example contact lenses with camera and sensors that allow you to overlay data and objects to the reality that surrounds us."
