It seems that Tomonobu Itagaki would be interested in bringing up his next project U Wii, Devil's Third. During a recent interview, the boss of Valhalla Studios has in fact shown great interest in the new Nintendo console, but not in any way confirming the actual existence of a version for this hardware.
Itagaki stated then to hope that a console like the Wii U can revitalize the Japanese market right in respect of its incredible features. Back then on his current project, Itagaki said that development has come about 20-30% and that the launch is not expected before the beginning of 2013.
The title will offer a multiplayer online open as many as 32 players but the campaign will be only available in singleplayer. We look forward to the Tokyo Game Show in September to find out more details about the game.
