From simulation to reality, it seems, the GT Academy has discovered a real talent in the person of Lucas Ordoñez, now a professional pilot for the Nissan team. Ordoñez it won the GT Academy tournament in its first edition in 2008, and now, three years later, he finds himself on the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (the real one) second.
After a particularly rosy in the European GT4 Cup aboard the Nissan 370Z, Lucas Ordoñez raced this year on board a Nissan LMP2 on the legendary Sarthe circuit, during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His team, the Nissan Signatech with a lot of the PlayStation brand livery on the car, managed to win the second place finish at the end of a race very torn.
"It 'was the day when all my dreams have become reality," said the youngster, who grew up on Gran Turismo.
