Latency OnLive "similar" to the PS3 and X360

OnLive boss, Steve Perlman, answered detractors who criticize the cloud service for excessive latency. "The latency of a current generation console is similar to that of OnLive," says Perlman. "With the improvements we introduce in the summer on OnLive will be even lower in many cases." "I do not refine the system through scientific measurements of latency," says the boss of OnLive.

"We care about the human perception, we try to offer the best possible experience." "We use different algorithms for different games, they use a total of over a hundred depending on the connections ... For example, wi-fi and 3G are different." "We do not turn to the hardcore users with high-performance machines, players who seek extreme performance.

We try to reach the mainstream audience and we hope to be able to include new categories of players." At the moment the service is only available in the U.S. but also in autumn OnLive debut in the United Kingdom.
