At least the second generation ... According to reports from a Taiwanese site, it appears that the cartridge at 3DS, Nintendo's new portable platform to come out next year, may contain up to 8 GB of memory. One thing, this actually means, in relation to the fact that the limits set by Nintendo's developers for the first generation of games should be 2 GB.
It would thus be a continuous evolution, up to the limit "real" in sucessve generations of games, extendable up to 8 GB precisely. At the moment, the bigger cartridge for the DS is currently on sale for only 512 MB.
