Share this story Share on Facebook too! The wrestling is now less and less present in television, has lost much popularity in recent years, however, video games that concern him are still put on the market (surely this game will sell more in America). We thus arrive at the new WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 for Xbox 360 console, ps3, wii and psp.
In this review we will play for the latter, this title will be seeking to be able to convey all the emotions that WWE can give. We will then be able to choose from over 70 different characters and do not miss the usual Road to WrestleMania Mode which gives us the chance to face 5 different story line, you will also find a new mode called "WWE Universe" Finally there is the usual mode multiplayer.
The game also contains an editor that will allow us to build from scratch our beloved wrestler in short, the maximum for the biggest fans of the sport. Until now the various games in the series were made in a rather conservative, however, this modus operandi has always rewarded the producers.
However with the inclusion of an increasing number of fighters and with the introduction of new methods has led to negative changes in gameplay: in fact the loading time before a fight seems endless and fight even when the characters seem to spare wood and thus limit the dynamism that should convey a sense of realism.
Especially on a console like the PSP where it lacks a right analog stick, the gameplay falls a lot of quality than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and although the developers have tried to change something in the controls at the end the problems are not resolved. There are some obvious problems: the realism is zero: wrestlers, heavy as feathers are raised by any other actors and the action is very mechanical, we are very far from a fluidity that should convey realism.
The mode "WWE Universe", which should give us a greater choice in the end it reveals rather poor and boring. Missing all the realism, dynamism, speed, strong suspense revolving around the various meetings. How could you understand, even from a technical standpoint the game is not much: some polygonal models are very well made while others are really worth so that the first lapse.
I do not want to talk about how they made the spectators watching the event on the front row, something indescribable.Instead it should be noted how good the sound: there are many dialogues present, also taken from the WWE itself, as well as the accompanying music is enjoyable.
But the game is much better for the ps3 and xbox360 console.
