The official U.S. PlayStation Blog hosted a speech by Jeff Rubenstein, Sony on the PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2, expected in stores on Jan. 21 but preceded by a demo on PSN on 22 December. According to Rubenstein PS3 owners will enjoy the version of "definitive" Mass Effect 2, from different points of view: first, the Blu-ray will host the base game and all the DLC already seen on other platforms, load times were reduced through the installation process on hard-disk, the controls have been adapted to the historical preferences of the players faithful to the PlayStation brand, and the graphics engine, in particular, has been updated with all the improvements in preparation for the recently announced Mass Effect 3.
The absence of the first Mass Effect to PS3 in the catalog will be corrected, as known since the early ads, thanks to a digital comic book publishing company created by Dark Horse.
