Despite the success of Kinect, Microsoft has reaffirmed its intention to remain faithful to who all these years has marked the growth of Xbox: hardcore gamers. "Of course the success of Kinect excites us," said David Dennis PR to IGN during CES 2011, "but we have no idea of leaving the audience that bought Xbox 360 since the beginning.
We are aware of hardcore of players for the future of Xbox 360, and will continue to develop games such as Halo and Gears of War. " According to Dennis, Microsoft has yet to announce several titles currently in development, dedicated to the hardcore gamer. The future may also involve new Xbox Live.
Microsoft is focused on the needs of players and is always ready to implement what they have requested, such as the limit of 100 users for the Buddy List: "The problem involves only a certain percentage of users but of course it is very important."
