3D 3DS initially had no gyroscope

Everything was added during construction, it seems, three-dimensional visualization has not been at the center of the whole project 3DS, Nintendo's new console, which probably took its current name after the idea of 3D has instead set up the headquarters of the large N. In an interview published by Famitsu and reported by 1UP, the group manager of Nintendo's commitment on the development of the project, Hideki Konno, said that in 2008, when work began, 3DS did not have the 3D graphics "from the point Nintendo's view, had already created 3D Hot Rally (8-bit game with glasses) and the Virtual Boy, had already tested the technology, "obviously the results are not exciting, but apparently at some point they realized that "was the right time to start thinking about the implementation of new 3D technology." Even the motion sensors were: "The hardware team had already developed all the characteristics of the definitive console and started work on the production, but then, in the midst of the hustle and bustle, Miyamoto said not enough, we can really change things when placed inside a gyroscope.

" Nintendo already had prototypes ready for this technology, so the hardware team met for the tests and concluded that "if we can make things so much fun, we have not choice but to put it." Source: 1UP
