The sequel shooter Earth Defense Force 2017 will be available beginning July 5. The confirmation has been given to the Facebook page of the game. The game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is set in a New Detroit invaded by aliens. It is for the player to reject them in single player or co-op with two other people.
