This spring, Microsoft will release a commercial version of the software development kit (SDK) for Windows Kinect. "Microsoft's investment in the field of natural user interfaces (NUI) are vital to our vision that involves the construction of computers for use in an intuitive way," said Craig Mundie of Microsoft.
"The fruit of these investments are visible in many products, and Kinect for Xbox 360 is one of those." The commercial version of the SDK will come later, tells the U.S. company. "When innovative technology as it expands people's creativity opens up a whole new world of possibilities." Since the launch of the device for Xbox 360, many hackers have made some videos to illustrate the potential of Kinect.
