The new Forza Motorsport 4, including Kinect

Auto ultra-realistic, consumer tires, roaring engines and more Turn 10 has every intention to make the definitive racing game Forza Motorsport 4, or at least is what emerges from the list of features so far confirmed for the fourth episode of the series participants developed exclusively for Xbox 360.

First, polygonal models of some cars (including the Bugatti Veyron) will be made using the sophisticated technique of 3D laser scanning, which ensures an extreme fidelity to the real cars. The collaboration with Pirelli enable Turn 10 to make the most of the behavior of the tires, translating on-screen data collected by technicians during testing and races.

We will therefore use the values as required and made as realistic as possible. The sounds of engines and mufflers reflect those of the real car as closely as possible. Last but not least, was made a job of enormous proportions with regard to the reproduction of the tracks: each track has been "rented" to two or three days, were made and photo shooting, and was finally achieved a complete tracking of the various portions the road using a GPS system.

The website MSN Autos, which we have these revelations, said that very few players are able to appreciate such a level of detail, and that the possibility of substantial increases so the degree of realism of the game is due to the hardcore gamer and professional pilots who have made numerous test sessions and over time have ensured a constant feedback.

It is a different opinion on the support of Kinect, which is defined by MSN Autos as a small step back view of the search for realism, though may be a matter of great impact for the dissemination of Forza Motorsport 4. Compatibility with Kinect allow players to walk around your car, and to inspect at will, but most will require a special mode Kinect-only "will be the presence of interesting features such as head tracking, ability to regulate view of the car in motion, according to the position of our face.
