One way to thank fans for supporting the Guitar Hero series will live on! This was confirmed by Activision, expressing its willingness to release more DLC for the series thanks to the enormous and ongoing support from fans. Same thing will happen for DJ Hero. After the announcement of the cancellation of both series, the publisher had said that the DLC for Guitar Hero due out in February would be the last.
However, it seems there has been an afterthought, and now on the Facebook page of the franchise appeared in the release announcing the continuation of the DLC thanks to the many fans who have acquired them. A similar statement was also made for DJ Hero. Source: CVG
