New details sull'NGP

During a presentation for a group of British development team, Sony has released new information has on the Next Generation Portable. In particular, we focused on the specific hardware on the network and launch strategies. One of those present at the event called the NGP "a dream for developers. Sony has finally realized what the teams around the world have been calling for years." The representatives of the studies are expected to receive the development kit for the new console, but Sony has postponed the delivery in April, indicating that each team must produce a document "of at least 20 pages" that describes the concept of the games that companies intending to develop.

Only after the approval of Sony itself sending the Dev-Kit will be granted. Some teams have long kits for temporary but well-informed sources are coming to know that those are the ones who have the characteristics of the final hardware. During the presentation were shown many demos of games NGP in developing countries, including Uncharted, Little Deviants and WipEout.

The latter, in particular, left impressed those present that they described as "identical to the last chapter PS3, complete with high resolution and 60fps. The company has pointed out that all games will be available on the NGP is in "physical" (flash cards) and as a download from PlayStation Network.

With regard to the technical specifications has confirmed the presence of three gyroscopes (the one against the Dual Shock 3), which allow very precise movements, and a multi-touch up six points for the front screen for the rear pad. Most developers been enraptured by what was learned at the event.

It seems that this time Sony has worked to make life easier for those who will give life to the games for NGP. "The development kit seems easy to use, it opens in Explorer and allows you to immediately see all the networked systems," said one of those present. "If the PS3 set-up takes about 3 hours, these new-dev kits will be ready in less than twenty minutes and we will make life much easier." During the event, Sony has once again confirmed that the new hardware will be released worldwide by the end of 2011, however, specifying that only Wi-Fi version will initially be available.

That Wi-Fi + 3G should arrive in the coming weeks. SCEE has unfortunately not given information on the possible price of the devices, but information in this regard will be given "very soon".
