Activision and EA to the day of reckoning

As reported by Bloomberg, only one of the four counts alleged in the case in Electronic Arts Activision / Infinity Ward was dismissed. According to EA, Activision did not provide evidence on the alleged recruitment of former manager and Zampella, Infinity Ward West from the publisher's Medal of Honor, while according to Activision EA would take confidential information within two at a time when West and Zampella worked with Infinity Ward.

The two founders of Respawn Games, studio partner Electronic Arts, Activision filed a lawsuit accusing the publisher had put together the case to avoid the payment of $ 36 million bonus tied to the success of Modern Warfare 2. Activision calls for a compensation of 400 million dollars for damages caused by EA to the company.

According to Elihu Berle, Judge of the Supreme Court of California, the evidence submitted by Activision justify the continuation of the case, then the process will begin in May.
