During an interview with IndustryGamers, Bungie's composer, Marty O'Donnell, said that the developer of Halo aims to achieve the same prestige as Blizzard, one of the most appreciated companies in the gaming industry. "Blizzard and Valve are successful companies, people know them. When publishing a new game that I already buy it.
Probably people did not expect the new Activision game, but the study who works for Activision," says O'Donnell. "Right now Bungie is exactly where Blizzard was years ago. We know many guys from Blizzard, we have been friends for years and respect them. When publishing a game we already know who will be formidable.
And I hope the same happens in the future for titles developed by Bungie ". After working for a decade with Microsoft on the Halo series, Bungie has agreed last year with Activision for the publication of unpublished titles belonging to an IPO.
