Fable III harder to PC

Lionhead has announced that Fable III will have a higher level of difficulty on the PC. "I remember when Peter [Molyneux] showed me the first time for Fable III, it was very explicit in his first statement. He told me that he would like a blind child was able to complete the adventure," said lead designer of the PC version of the game, Josh Atkins, to the site Rock Paper Shotgun.

"During the development of this PC version we have always held in highest consideration the will of Peter, but going forward we realized that the level of difficulty was perhaps the only aspect of the game that needed to be adjusted. We think that providing a challenge sufficiently difficult for players to be a significant plus.

" "Obviously we are not just limited to make the enemies harder to beat the protagonist or less strong. We have sought a solution that not stravolgesse the original balance of the game." In addition to the difficulty level adjusted upward, Fable III on PC will have a completely new interface, which will adapt perfectly to the control via mouse and keyboard.

Atkins and his team are given a lot to be done to eliminate the greatest possible amount of bugs that plagued the console version and have lowered the number of items needed to unlock the corresponding Achievement. "Our hope is that whoever plays with the PC version of Fable III get exactly what they expect and do not think about being in front of a drab conversion." "Not to criticize anyone in particular, but often the PC conversions are done so hasty to say the least and the results are highly questionable.

Our approach is totally opposite from the start we wanted exceed the already excellent quality of the console version" . Source Videogame on the Xbox 360 version of Fable III has earned an excellent 8 / 10.
