With the recent huge update patch that has led to some internal adjustments to Final Fantasy XIV was prepared the way for the arrival of the "Grand Eorzea of Companies" in the game world. These macro-born factions on the concentration of military power, economic and technological environment in real city-state, which arose in the world of MMORPG Square Enix recently.
We do not know precisely what that means in the game: apparently will fit into the narrative fabric making several new quests specific but may also become factions with which they align.
