No internet to play Witcher 2

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings does not require a permanent internet connection, CD Projekt said during the CDP Conference held in Warsaw in the last few hours (via Twitter). You will still need to authenticate the game by connecting to the network, tells the developer, under which The Witcher 2 will be available on the portal without any DRM GOG.

com. In the past, CD Projekt has been critical of DRM a few months ago, the CEO Marcin Iwiński had told the Videogame Source DRM "does not work" and that "treats the players as criminals." The sequel to The Witcher will be available on PC on May 17.
