PS3 reaches 50 million units sold

Move over 8 million Sony has confirmed the figure of 50 million PS3 sold around the world released by NPD, revealing also that Move has sold 8 million units. The latest official data on the prevalence of the Xbox 360 in January and is about 50.8 million units. In short, the two consoles are paired in sales, but we must consider the Japanese market, where Xbox 360 has always struggled.

Any other data released by Sony is about 480 million PS3 games sold worldwide and 75 million accounts and assets in 59 countries. Source: VG247
