Rage on the PC will be ready to launch the tools for modding

Planners warned the creative director of id Software's Rage in charge, Tim Willits, confirmed that the final version of the new first-person shooter on PC, will be released on the market complete with a comprehensive toolset for the modding. This is not news that a game id can be expanded and modified as desired by the users by means official, but the novelty that comes with this confirmation is the fact that this option is active from the outset, with the tools already available for modding the launch of the game.

Will be sufficient to "invoke the console, type 'id studio' and press enter and bam, there are all the tools you want," said Willits in this regard. It will not be a simple thing, though: the tools are a fairly faithful replica of the system level design used by developers, but not without knowledge on how the new Tech 5 engine could be quite difficult to metabolize.
