The Xbox 360 version of LA Noire will use three disks, the developer Jeronimo Barrera admitted in an interview with Kotaku. The PlayStation 3 will use Blu-ray instead of a single-layer 25 GB. "LA Noire is a massive game, the level of detail of the world to the length of cases, also the amount of data required by MotionScan technology is massive, and involves the faces of 400 players in-game," says the developer.
"For tell this story and make the game we wanted, we knew we had to use an entire Blu-ray discs and three for the Xbox. "" The story revolves around the resolution of several cases and players can replace disks without discomfort. Will have to change the disc only twice and this will happen naturally, without interruption in the flow of the game.
"During the development we have achieved excellent cases. We were able to build such a huge main story and get extra content of extreme quality that we will launch in the future as DLC. "LA Noire will be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from May 20.
