BioWare will learn from their mistakes Mass Effect 3

The team will highly value the feedback from fans Mass Effect 2 is represented in many ways an improvement over the first chapter, although for its implementation have been sacrificed many of the RPG elements that characterized the series debut. For the development of Mass Effect 3, BioWare reintroduce some of these elements.

"According to many fans, the options for customization of weapons were cumbersome. For this we have eliminated in Mass Effect 2," said producer Jesse Houston Wired microphones during E3 2011. "The problem is that we may have gone overboard in this direction." "One of the things we're trying to do now is to give players more choices," continued the producer.

"Many people wanted to experiment with close quarters combat, but they had the tools to do it." The introduction of Omniblade solve the problem. Finally, Houston has talked about how BioWare listens to their fans, while also learning from their mistakes. Emblematic in this sense, the case of Dragon Age 2.

"With that title we have learned a lot about how the story should be told. I will not go into details, but I can say that we listened very carefully and the fans that this will allow us to avoid mistakes made previously."
