The MMO Funcom becomes free-to-play Age of Conan: Unchained

Each of us can break free from their chains, as announced in late May, Funcom has transformed the popular MMO set in the universe of Conan the Barbarian in a free-to-play entitled Age of Conan: Unchained. Available for download at the official site, the new version of the game replaces the previous one, which had sold 1.4 million copies worldwide.

Players can choose to access in a free way to experience or become premium member, with all the advantages of the case. For a system will be available to purchase in-game that will buy new weapons and mounts. "Go to the free-to-play has been fantastic for the team working on Age of Conan, because it will allow the game to reach a wider audience," said executive producer and creative director Craig Morrison.


"Not only the players can access content for free, but there will be a commitment on our part to add new features and enhancements to the game."
