Black Rock Studios, a developer based in Brighton former head of Pure and Split / Second, is to be closed by Disney. A "staff reduction" had been made some time ago, leaving only 40 members operating in the original team. Just yesterday, however, Disney has announced the complete closure of the study.
An anonymous source has revealed that Disney would have to Videogame source used in a questionable way the resource provided by Black Rock, relying on outside projects that the study of Brighton could handle safely. The source also criticized the lack of publicity for both Pure Split / Second.
