Jack Tretton, president of Sony Computer Entertainment of America, said the most important factor in the success of the NGP will be the new console games. "The advanced technology we have used to create the new PSP is very important, but the key will once again be the games," said Tretton on PlayStation blog.
"We are thrilled to continue the franchise known as Uncharted and Call of Duty also on the next generation of handheld consoles from Sony. We have an impressive number of titles in the developing world." NGP will be released in stores by the end of 2011 and will be a real concentrate of technology: Wi-Fi, 3G, 5''multi-touch screen and OLED multi-touch pad.
Among the games already announced for the new console are, in addition to COD and Uncharted, Hot Shots Golf, Gravity Daze, Killzone, Reality Fighters, Smart As, Broken, LittleBigPlanet, Little Deviants, WipEout, Monster Hunter, Resistance and a new game Hideo Kojima will be unveiled at E3.
