New record for Wii and DS

New financial report from Nintendo and new numbers for worldwide sales of Wii and DS. At 31 December 2010, the "family" DS (including DS, DSi and DSi XL) had sold all over the world the beauty of 144.59 million pieces. The Wii instead was arrived at 84.64 million. Over the past nine months last year, the handheld Nintendo has sold nearly 16 million units, while the admiral stood at 14 million.

The most successful games, needless to say, were Super Mario Galaxy 2, Wii Party, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Very impressive numbers. The 3DS will be able to continue this tradition in favor? Nintendo expects to sell 4 million 3DS by the end of March and about 15 million games for the new console.
