Heavy Rain: The film is in pre-production

According to very reliable sources, the film based on Heavy Rain is currently in pre-production and filming should start before the end of summer. According to what has been revealed by Variety, David Milch, creator of popular series such as NYPD Blue and Deadwood, has written the script. Milch will work full time on "Rain", so it should be called the film, not just end up writing the final episodes of Luck, his new HBO series to the issuer.
