There came the April 8 A few hours after the announcement on the delay of the mythical Duke Nukem Forever is back to talk to the Duke, although in another form. In this case it's Duke Nukem: Critical Mass, which finally gets an official release date after he passed a rich series of delays and postponements.
The Apogee team announced that the game finally reach the Nintendo DS in Europe on April 8. This is what should be the first chapter of a trilogy fully developed for Nintendo DS and PSP, at least according to original plans, announced for the first time about 3 years ago. The very existence of Duke Nukem: Critical Mass had been put in doubt after the cancellation of the project by Frontline Studios, initially responsible for development, but the message on Twitter Apogee seems to be a final confirmation of his arrival.
