Homefront, the 360 wins the format war

As revealed by Chart-Track, Microsoft won the "format war" for Homefront in Britain by capturing 70% of sales of the shooter with the Xbox 360 version of the game, THQ. 26% of copies were sold in PlayStation 3 format, while only 4% of total copies sold in the UK in recent days have been bought by PC gamers.

Data from Chart-Track, however, refer to the dealers in the United Kingdom and do not include data from digital distribution. Some time ago, Kaos Studios had spoken against the interest of Microsoft Homefront, an interest which was published in the exclusivity of the DLC time. In the UK, Homefront debuted in first place in the weekly software charts, while the United States the title, THQ has sold 375,000 copies in 24 hours.
