According to the team Zynga, Farmville, one of the most popular games on Facebook, is not suited to Xbox Live Arcade for the poor "social potential" of Microsoft. In an interview with IndustryGamers, the airline's chief game designer, Brian Reynolds, said that the XBLA catchment area is too small for a game like Farmville.
"Xbox Live is demographically too small when compared to a service like that offered by Facebook. We are in the order of 70-80% of users in less." Certainly compared to the most popular social network in the world, has over 600 million users, Xbox Live may seem small, but we remember that we are still talking to Reynolds about 25 million players.
