SEGA has confirmed that Total War Videogame Source: PC Shogun 2 will debut on next week without support for DirectX 11, which will be implemented after the debut of the strategy game. "We need a few more weeks to optimize the performance of DirectX 11 video cards different," said communications manager at Creative Assembly, Kieran Brigden.
"Adding this technology as a result, players can download the patch two or four weeks after the launch of the game." The debut of Shogun 2 is set for March 15, and therefore the patch should arrive by mid-April. "We do not want to delay the release of the game. We have already announced the launch date and the product is well finished.
Many have already booked and can not wait to have it in my hands." "With maximum configurations the game looks amazing. There are no restrictions on the resolution, it looks fantastic and all the features are already present."
