Bioware defends and apologizes

In recent days, a crowd of angry players poured their anger on the Bioware forums after last update of the PC version of Dragon Age: Origins made it unplayable the popular RPG. As reported by Ars Technica, the problem has resulted from the permissions on the DRM server. "Last Friday, a large group of players of Dragon Age: Origins gathered in front of a nasty surprise: all the additional content that they had downloaded up to that point were blocked and so the rescue could not be loaded," reported the ' Ars Technica article.

Bioware yesterday announced it had solved the problem, but now the omelet was made and the dissent has struggled to subside. Series producer, Fernando Melo, had to intervene so directly: "We were surprised and how fast we could be intervening, we spent a few days to restore the situation." "We apologize to all those who could not play for the past weekend.

We can assure you that such a problem does not recur."
