An employee of Rockstar has revealed that Red Dead Redemption was originally designed as a game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. "We started working on Dead Red Redemption (RDR2) in early 2008, after completing Manhunt 2 and Bully: Scholarship Edition," says Matt Kazan (viaSuperannuation). "We at Rockstar Toronto had the task of reworking the first artwork of San Diego.
RDR2 began as a sixth-generation game platforms, and most of the content that we were revising belonged 2/Xbox PlayStation era." Red Dead Redemption was published last year on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the western game has achieved significant success both critically and in terms of trade.
