Three targati NCsoft MMOs celebrate its anniversary today: Guild Wars, City of Heroes and Lineage II. To highlight the anniversary, the development team has made known a lot of statistics on their own in City of Heroes. Did you know, for example, that the day of its release have been created less than 42 million people? Of these 60% are heroes, while 40% sided with the bad guys.
The five most-played archetypes of hero were Blaster, Scrapper, Tanker, Mastermind and Controller, while the most popular class was that of the mutants. Since its release, 2004, 20 were made available free content for City of Heroes, more than 1,600 missions were created for individual or group and in total, about 375,000 players have participated in this.
The festivities for City of Heroes will go on until the end of May and offer fans additional content and discounts on subscriptions. As for Guild Wars, however, until May 6 will be organized games and contests, and for six weeks will be offered promotional offers (announced via the official website).
Any initiatives for Lineage II has not been, as yet, been announced.
