Konami has announced a new air combat game set during World War II, Birds of Steel. Developed by Gaijin Entertainment, creators of IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, the game will arrive in 2012 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Birds of Steel will include historic vehicles such as Spitfire and Messerschmidt, and will allow players to assume the role of the Allies, the Axis powers or Japan in eight separate campaigns.
