The code can not be redeemed according to reports by the users and approved by Codemasters, the multiplayer segment of Dirt 3 on PlayStation 3 is apparently tied to the PlayStation Store and is therefore useless to the reactivation of this. The issue is tied to the VIP pass, which is used by publishers to prevent (or at least discourage) the purchase of used copies of the game.
The code is located inside the new package but must be redeemed through the PlayStation Store, as for the Sony console. Since the store is still offline for the moment it is impossible to redeem online for access to the compartment 3 Dirt "is a very unfortunate situation but we are convinced it will be done to fix it as soon as possible," said Andy Gray Codemasters.
Unfortunately, the question is not directly related to the developers at this point.
