Final Fantasy XIV problems have prompted Square Enix to move away from the MMO genre. As reported by Andriasang, the publisher is expected to announce another MMO by the end of the fiscal year. Company of Japan, as stated to shareholders on CEO Yoichi Wada, would operate simultaneously on two or three MMO able to bring a steady flow of money into the coffers of the publisher.
