During a conference call with shareholders, the CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, has suggested that LA Noire could be just the first in a long string of hits based on the franchise. "We have reason to believe that LA Noire is another important franchise for our company," says Zelnick. "We consider it a new IP full of opportunity." The publisher has not yet officially a sequel, but in recent days, Team Bondi said that for the next chapter of LA Noire will have to wait less than 5 years.
Take-Two made it known that Rockstar's founders, Sam and Dan Houser, were confirmed in their roles along with Leslie Benzies. In the last fiscal year, the company's net revenues were up 49% over the previous year for a total of 1.14 billion dollars. Lower than in 2010, revenue for the last quarter of $ 182.3 million (233.2 in the fourth quarter of fiscal year).
