It would seem so ... The website Kotaku reported on their pages photos of what appears to be just the first 3DS to be got hold of a user. Of course, unless it is a fake, the person in question has since bought the item is not yet available on the market, but claims to have removed from Nintendo directly in a Chinese factory is himself an internal employee.The screen forms published reveal the alleged 3DS even in comparison with previous models, but not its use, as the second author of the scoop that would be a limited release.
