Share this story Share on Facebook too! There's still no news on the new video game Uncharted 3. This time to talk about is the game director at Naughty Dog that are just now working on 3 video game Uncharted: Drake's Deception. His statement is interesting because in its view, this new game will be much more open and free than the games of the series that we've seen so far.
Caution, however, will certainly not an open world, which the desert-type setting would suggest, however, because the gameplay of video games in the series seen so far, is not well adapted to the above type, however we will have greater freedom of action, a greater possibilities for exploration, which is usually always very positive.
In addition, this helps to give a certain realism to this game. In fact, since the hero finds himself in a desert, the gamer has to have the feeling of being in a place where nothing is defined, where the gamer has to prove that sense of loss and then impose a pre-defined road would a serious mistake for the realism.
At the same time, the game director is at pains to point out that the desert is not something completely open and explorable to the fullest extent as we please. In fact in many places you can find natural obstacles that developers have studied live in the Arabian desert, which does not allow us to go further.
For example, developers have spoken of the dunes that you can not pass and then act as a barrier to the player. This of course is just one possible examples, but the developers promise that there will be many natural elements of this kind. So it is true that the desert has a great extension but it will not just be made up of sand, attention was also focused on the natural elements present in the desert.
It only remains to wait for more details, stay tuned!
