Namco Ridge Racer 3D defends

Last month, Ryo Totoyama Namco Bandai stated that the 3DS version of Ridge Racer was more accessible than the old standard games of the series. "We realized that in the past had many problems with the vehicle control," he said during the presentation of Totoyama 3DS held in New York. "The drift is a complex mechanism, so we decided to introduce an option to take advantage of the drifting touch of a button.

It works similar to Mario Kart, so the younger players who know the game will find familiar controls. Ridge Racer we bring those players who have previously abandoned because of the driving model. During a press conference held by Namco in San Francisco in recent days, though, the game director of Ridge Racer 3D Masamichi Yamazaki wanted to reassure fans of the series.

"Ridge Racer 3D is a new game that we designed specifically for 3DS," said a source Videogame. "However, the concept remains the same. The series has always been characterized by a driving experience immediate and accessible." "With Ridge Racer 3D we just tried to make the game even more accessible in order to involve new groups of players but the title is not aimed at a new type of user.

The mechanics have not changed the basic and the game has not become more simple. We only have added features that allow novice users to more easily control the cars. "
