Speedball 2: Evolution will arrive this month in sizes iPad App Store, iPhone and iPod touch. The game, which will offer a revamped gameplay, local multiplayer and updated graphics, was developed by Jon Hare and the creators of the original game, The Bitmap Brothers. Speedball 2: Evolution is an updated version of the 1990 classic, Speedball II.
Among the game modes included in the iPhone version match include rapid, tournaments and a career mode, which includes the Speedball Champions League. "This is the best version of Speedball II since the original and the best remake of a great classic titles available on the App Store," said the CEO of Tower Studios Jon Hare.
