Virtual skateboarding is in crisis?

Apparently gamers are tired of the virtual skateboard, or perhaps the concept of the game needs a refresher. Last year, in fact, Tony Hawk and Shaun White Skateboarding Shred showed poor performance for the respective publishers, Activision and Ubisoft. But between the two, who was worse? As reported by 'Hollywood Reporter was the Ubisoft game to the bottom, while Tony Hawk is able to go up a bit' after a disastrous start.

In the week of its debut, Tony Hawk: Shred it sold 3000 copies, but in the months following the game, Activision has managed to bring together 270,000 people. In 2009 his predecessor, Tony Hawk: Ride, however, had sold 1.3 million copies. Overall, however, Ubisoft's Shaun White Skateboarding has reached 120,000 units, while the two games in the franchise Shaun White Snowboarding have exceeded 3 million units.

A few months ago, Activision has made heavy cuts on personal Robomodo, the developer of Tony Hawk: Shred. According to rumors, the publisher may assign to another study the development of the next game of skateboarding.
