Stalled movie BioShock

The pre-production film BioShock was halted because no study has taken the burden of investing money in a film with a Restricted classification, said director Gore Verbinski. In an interview with ComingSoon, the director stated that they would be willing to soften his vision of the film to increase its chances of success in commercial terms.

"I have not found anyone willing to spend money for a film rated R, and are not interested in doing a PG-13 version. The R rating is the correct classification for this vision. Little Sister, injections and all the rest. I want to do four days after a film that continues to scare you. " According to the director, the BioShock movie would be perfect for 3D "I'd like to enter this world by wearing a pair of glasses.

In general, I think that video games are perfect for 3D. Any medium in which the protagonist is you. The Shining boy running along the corridors, this is perfect for 3D. " The film adaptation of BioShock was announced in 2008. In September last year, the series creator Ken Levine spoke of a project still alive, but the latest statements by Verbinski does not seem to be going the same direction.

The next game in the series, Infinite BioShock, will arrive in 2012 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
