Deadly Descents becomes SSX: new information and pictures

No subtitle, back to the roots Gathering together some of the doubts raised by fans of the series, EA has decided to eliminate some of the obscure style that characterized SSX: Deadly Descents at least from his first appearances, starting with the removal of the subtitle. The new chapter will therefore simply SSX, a way to emphasize fidelity to the origins of the series of this product, which seemed to depart somewhat from the initial presentations.

"Deadly Descents" is in fact a new all'itnerno special mode of the game, in which we find to run and fight against the weather and meteorological disasters including avalanches, falling rocks, snow storms and stalactites in free fall, selling down from the mountains . However, these arrangements will still be purely historical and arcade-like "Speed Descents", based on speed and time and "Tricky Descents", focusing on the performance of tricks and points to be collected.

Regarding the latter, the creative director Todd Batty wanted to make clear that remain fundamentally characterized by an arcade, with a great ease of execution and a spectacular exaggerated, with controls similar to those seen in HD and also adapted Trials thanks to the team of Fight Night.

To add to the spectacle general were also introduced new equipment, such as the "wing suit" and the ax: the first is a winged suit that allows you to expand exponentially jumps using gliding flight, while the second has several uses, such as the ability to conduct "crawl" on the walls without falling into the void and cling to cliffs where the jumps up crevasses and the like do not go exactly to fruition.

There are also several multiplayer modes in which Batty still did not want to unbutton. New pictures in the gallery below. Source: Game Informer
