The future technology of LA Noire

Team Bondi unveils plans for MotionScan As we were told repeatedly it will not be easy to put in other games or contests the technology behind the facial animation of LA Noire. But this does not mean that the Motion Scan does not develop and will not be exploited in the future. In fact, Team Bondi, in spite of the pessimistic statements by David Cage, has already revealed that the technology may soon capture the expressiveness of the whole body of actors and translate it into a three-dimensional, interactive environment.

In addition, the developers intend to improve the aesthetic industry by increasing the realism of the models from every point of view, and this will make sequences more realistic and closer and closer to the cinema but with the possibility for the director of fine-tuning the position of each actor and the timing of expression.

In addition, the Motion Scan technology is not limited only to the capture of human movement so that Depth Analysis, the team of experts behind the technology used by Team Bondi, has already begun to test subjects in whole-body costume. The aim in short seems to replace the good old Motion Capture using all-Motion Scan.

A technology that is probably more accurate but, and this should not be underestimated, it is also more expensive because of the need to employ as many as 32 HD cameras. Below we represent the video dedicated to technology Motion Scan. LA Noire - The MotionScan
