GeoHot settles with Sony: the end of the process

Permanent injunction for him It was finally settled out of court legal action pursued by Sony against George "Geohot" Hotz, the attacker is already known for his work on the jailbreak for the iPhone which recently published the root key of PlayStation 3, kicking off a series of exploits of the console and the reaction lasts from Sony.

The agreement was reached between the parties concerned March 31, 2011 and according to the charges this fall against GeoHot which in turn has agreed to a permanent injunction by Sony. Both parties were satisfied and the conclusion of the "peaceful" of the legal conflict, a situation that was warming up a bit 'all over the internet world with the recent drop in the field of hacker group Anonymous against Sony for its own aggressive attitude.

Clearly, Sony has said it is interested only to the security of its systems and its users while GeoHot reiterated that it was not his intention to open the door to piracy on the PlayStation 3 and they all seem now to be happy. Remains to be seen at this point as to continue actions against other hackers incriminated by Sony and the group Anonymous is going to declare a truce.
